If you are in Botswana and spending time in Maun you may like to attend Yoga classes with Yoga Alliance accredited E-RYT instructor Deborah Carter. Since 2001, Deborah has been teaching a Mindfulness based style of Yoga in Maun that incorporates, pranyama (breath work), asana (poses) & savasana (relaxation).

As two yogis share:

Dear Debs,
Thank you for your calming voice and lovely spirit in our yoga practices this month! Your classes are among my favorite in the world. I love your teaching style. For me, it’s an ideal balance-so to speak-between structured and free-flowing, strong and gentle. By the end of your classes, I feel refreshed, awakened, and rested, all at the same time. I especially appreciate your lightness and laughter, how you introduce flow between poses, your encouraging words, and the way you make connections between our movements on the mat and our responses to life. You’re the best!

Thank you again. With gratitude,

Amanda , Austin, Texas

Thank you so much for helping me with Yoga and taking the time to teach me. I have to tell you - it is doing me so much good and I am really feeling a difference. Much more relaxed and also nowhere near as tense in my shoulders and neck as usual. So thank you.

You are a very gentle, kind and warm lady and I just want to say you’ve really helped me to relax and take some time for myself. Thank you.
